Eedris Abdulkareem Reveals How Charlie Boy & Festus Keyamo Sold Him Out During 50 Cent Saga

Back in 2004, Eedris Abdulkareem was trending when a story broke out that he slapped American rapper and superstar, Curtis Jackson also known as 50 Cent, during the Star Mega Jam.

It became the talk of the country with several rumors flying around.

In a recent Instagram live session with the Eedris, and music producer Samklef, the former explained the roles Charlie Boy and Festus Keyamo played in that squabble.

He explained that Charlie Boy went to the Nigerian Breweries and told them they had messed up and he would deal with them.

He also alleged that Charlie Boy collected some money from the breweries and blacklisted his name to the media.

In light of the blacklist, Eedris said all sorts of stories were written saying; he had kidnapped and slapped 50 Cent.

“The next day, Charlie Boy collected money from Nigerian Breweris, Festus Keyamo sold me out,” Eedris said in the video.

Eedris Abdulkareem was very popular back in the days. With songs like Jaga Jaga, Mr Lecturer, Live in Yankee; the Nigerian musician made a name for himself.

He also drew some presidential attention by the then president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, who detested the lyrics to his trendy song, “Nigeria jaga jaga, poor man dey suffer, suffer … Everything skatta skatta, gbosa gbosa, gunshots ina the air.”
